Day 10: Childhood Memory

This bear has been with me as long as I have been alive. He was given to me by my father the day I was born.  It is one of my most prized possessions and has been with me through some of the biggest struggles and accomplishments of my child and adult lives.

Day 7: Changes to Come

This is one of many changes to come this year.  I moved into my first apartment on Friday in order to be closer to school and my internship doing Clinical Chaplaincy at a local hospital. I’ve been told by many of my peers that the single most life altering moment of their Divinity School education was this internship where they felt they went from being a student to a minister.

Day 6: Obsession

I rarely plug products in anything I do but Day 6 warrants a plug for Seacret Skin Care products.  I’ve had problem skin since I was in 5th grade.  I’ve tried loads of different products and have had mixed results.  A friend of mine is a Seacret Agent (a la Avon or Mary Kay) and I tried a couple of the products out to help support his growing business.  I LOVE these products.  I began seeing results almost immediately and only broke out once in the past 3 months when I stopped using them regularly.  They use natural ingredients blended with Dead Sea minerals which have been used as healing agents for thousands of years! I absolutely love this skin care line!

(Belated) Day 5: After Dark

So I promise once I get settled in these will actually be coming with some semblance of regularity.  After dark on Day 5 I went bowling with my sister! I chose this picture as my After Dark photo because 1) you can’t really tell but cosmic bowling was happening and 2) I beat my sister’s score for the first time in almost 10 years.Image

Day 4: Something Green

In honor of my moving today here are some green items that can be found in my apartment!

These Curtains are going to be hanging in my living room!

This is a photo of my sister who is unhappy that I'm taking her picture after she helped me move in. Her shirt has green and she's sitting on our green loveseat in the living room.
